It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas when Moxie headed back to one of our favourite haunts, Gusto Restaurant and Bar on Station Road in Cheadle Hulme. Gusto, however, was looking very different following its stylish new refurbishment and reinvented menu…
We were given a warm welcome by Alex and the Gusto team and treated to a drink at the bar. The fizz began to flow, and along with it, the relaxed and chatty conversation for which Moxie is renowned.
Gusto in Cheadle Hulme has just had a beautiful refurbishment and we were delighted to take a look and enjoy our final networking event of the year, our ‘Jingle Mingle’ event!

On Thursday, Moxie returned to one of our favourite venues to mingle, the Rose Room at the Alderley Edge Botanist. Always a pleasure, it was lovely to be greeted by Josie like old friends and to be welcomed into the delightful rustic interior before heading up to the idyllic first floor Rose Rooms. The space, although always beautiful and roomy, has been opened up somewhat and it’s easy to see how lovely it would be for all manner of functions.

Moxie positively jumped at the chance to mingle at Oddfellows on the Park, the sumptuous new 22-bedroom hotel on Bruntwood Park, which connects Cheadle Hulme and Cheadle. New life has been breathed into the long-unloved Bruntwood Hall – but with total respect to its history and heritage. The result is a masterpiece, bringing the past to life in a very current way.

Moxie Mingled at Mercato Again – September is all about back-to-school and a new season – and also a new start for Moxie after our long Summer break. For our first Moxie of the new term, we were welcomed back to Bramhall’s own Mercato

Moxie minglers were treated to a fabulous venue, Reflections in Wilmslow. It is primarily a market research viewing facility, they have created a beautiful space, with studios, reception room and viewing room which is perfect for Moxie and other businesses that may be looking for conference and meeting space. Mouthwatering nibbles were provided by Strawberry Charlotte Catering.

One of Cheadle Hulme’s newest businesses, At The Kitchen invited us to Mingle with them yesterday. Moxie LOVES local so we jumped at the chance. At the Kitchen is not just NEW – it’s also VERY different.

We heading to the fabulous Redrow Homes at Woodford Garden Village on Thursday 19 April- this was an unusual venue for us as we mingled in one of their showhomes and the sunshine well and truly shone for us!

Moxie stayed local this time, with a visit to one of Cheadle Hulme’s coffee shops, SK Eight. Sk Eight, however, is a coffee shop with a difference – it’s a social enterprise, and all profits go straight back into the local community. That doesn’t mean it’s any less excellent than Cheadle Hulme’s other eateries – the ethical Grumpy Mule coffee is superb and the locally-sourced food just as good (let’s just say we weren’t the only ones to stay for lunch…)

With a fantastic bird’s eye view over Cheadle Hulme, this is a fantastic space for meetings, courses, etc and it’s available to the community.

Due to the Beast from the East dumping snow on Bramhall on 28 Feb, Moxie rescheduled the event until 7 March, what a difference a week makes! Sunshine and around 12 degrees warmer! Moxie minglers were treated to canapes from Piccolino whilst they networked.

I LOVE Moxie and I LOVE the Botanist in Alderley Edge, so where better to hold our Valentine’s Moxie Mingle?
An other-worldly and unashamedly Romantic (with a capital R) environment, The Botanist’s Rose Room is a beautiful escape from the bustle of the street below – and the busy day generally. Perfect for meetings – or assignations – there’s an equally stunning ante-room if anyone needs a little more peace and quiet. All the Minglers were feeling the love today and the atmosphere was as friendly and welcoming as ever. Several newbies were suitably impressed – and most agreed that Moxie delivers a very refreshing change from high-pressure, referral-driven and industry limited networking groups.
Moxie Mingle was feeling the love for The Botanist on Valentines Day, as we mingled with like-minded businesses in the gorgeous Rose Room.

Moxie first mingled at the Stanneylands almost a year ago – and we were blown away then. The building and interior were stunning and the landscape around it almost idyllic – despite its close proximity to the A34, the airport and civilisation generally. The Stanneylands really does deliver the best of both worlds. We could only imagine what the planned refurb would achieve – and couldn’t wait for our sneak preview and guided tour!
Moxie enjoyed the surroundings whilst networking in the rustic and fantastically British Tap & Pantry in the heart of The Stanneylands. We were delighted to be also shown round this newly refurbished hotel, we were certainly very impressed!
